Alone and together, just you and I
Birds ride the worm wind beneath the blue sky.
One sole feather dropped from the infinite blue
And I have to believe that it happened for you.
We laughed and we searched for the bird in the sky
Then we dropped silent, and you looked me in the eye.
The sun gleamed from your eyes and the breeze didn't blow
And the whole world seemed to move a little more slow.
From the moment we met, I've been your close friend
But there was magic there now: We couldn't pretend.
